Proof of Residence: 

The Tohatchi Chapter, as a Tribal Entity, can provide legal Proof of Residence with the submittal of authorized documents stating the individual’s current physical address. Your documents must be original or certified copies with your legal name and physical address provided. A certified copy must be endorsed by the entity that issued the original document. A photocopy,scan or photo of the original document will not suffice. Authorized documents include: Driver’s License/ID Card, Home Utility Bill, Bank/Credit Card Statement, Employee Pay Stub, Educational Institute Document, Home/Car/Life Insurance Bill, Homesite Lease, Hospital Medical Records/Card, NM Public Assistance Statement and Rental/Property Agreement. Tohatchi Chapter is unable to provide Proof of Residency to individuals living outside the chapter boundaries. PO BOX MAIL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Solid Waste Transfer Station:

Tohatchi Transfer Station is located 0.3 miles southeast of the Navajo Petroleum Gas Station, eastward of U.S. 491. The station is open Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 8AM to 4PM. Transfer fees depend on garbage load and will be household items only. No batteries, tires, mattresses, couches, TVs, dead animals, vehicles and large metallic items will be accepted.

Household Garbage Fees:  (1) bag = $2.12, (2) bags = $4.24, (3) bags = $6.36, (4) bags or more/truck load = $8.48

NN Voter Registration: 

The Tohatchi Chapter can provide Navajo Nation Voter registration for community members.  All applicants must provide in person the following ORIGINAL documents: Valid Driver’s License/ID Card, Social Security Card, and Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB). Must be 18 years of age at the time of registration.  Must have a census number issued by Navajo Nation Vital Records Office.  Voter registration is also available to qualified Navajo Tribal members living off of the Navajo Reservation but must go through the Navajo Election Administration to receive a registration form.

Facility Rental Disclaimer: 

If the facility is found to be damaged after use, the renter will pay for all the damages incurred. The facility renter shall completely clean up after use and return all chairs and tables back to their storage compartments. The facility shall be swept and mopped with all trash removed and disposed of outside of facilities by renter. The kitchen is no longer available for public rental due to damages from previous users.
