COMMUNITY LAND USE PLANNING COMMITTEE

mISSION STATEMENT: 

Enhance the quality of life for infants, youth, adults and elders of Tohatchi by actively participating in the development of agriculture, public safety, the economy, education and Dine’ language and cultural preservation, through establishing infrastructure, partnerships, and a responsive Regional Local Government Center; while upholding the natural beauty through conservation planning to benefit the Tohatchi community.

VISION STATEMENT:

Tohatchi thrives to be a sustainable Local Government Center with a strong team of leadership and qualified staff from the community that operates efficiently and in a transparent way for the continuous improvement in the quality of life for the infants, youth, adults and elders of Tohatchi; for all to be healthy, safe, compassionate, educated, self-sufficient citizens who are knowledgeable in the ever-evolving Navajo language, culture and tradition.
